When the balance of the world is off, Mama Inez arranges Serendipity Market. This is a time when chosen story-tellers of the world come together and share their work. Slewfoot Sue, Zola, Wink, BJ, Nodia, Lightning, Lizard Man, John, Earl, Maddie, Rosie, Renata, and Masie attend. But will the magic of their stories be enough to balance the world? My favorite part of the book is when Earl and Maddie tell their story, which is really a retelling of the elves and the shoemaker. I really like this book because it is a story within a story type of deal. An excellent addition it will be to your library. READ IT!!!

Maya, you continually see the part that lies beyond the obvious. Enjoying this book, partly because it is a story, or maybe many stories, with a story is a very cool take on this book.
